Here some delicious halal food...

Alright, this time I’ll explain about some halal food from the video. As you can see from the video the first one is bahulu (pronounce it as “bow lu”). The main ingredients are egg and flour. It tastes yummy! Malaysian used to eat bahulu at Celebration festival such as Hari Raya Aidilfitri. But nowadays, they eat it whenever they want in the morning, afternoon, evening, night bla bla bla…

The next one you watch on the video is epok-epok (pronounce it as “air poke-air poke”). You know pie is it? There’s substance or mixture that is put inside a pie. Same goes to epok-epok but the different is it can be sardine or curry sweet potatoes inside of the epok-epok as the mixture. Hmmm..delicious…epok-epok will be great for my breakfast.

What about roti canai (row tea cha nai)? Actually this food is from India. In the video you can see there is something in the small bowl and a big bowl. What is that huh? In the small bowl are sambal and the big one is curry. Roti canai will be tastier if you eat it with sambal and curry. If you read my previous post, you should already know what sambal is. At least I would like to remind you sambal is a hot food. If your tongue can’t accept the hot food, don’t eat it without a big jug of water lol!

The last one is mee goreng (mi go rank). Actually mee goreng is a fried noodle not a fast food 2 minutes fried noodle. Anyway I like to call it mee goreng. It contains prawns, some vegetables, meats and chilies. This is a ‘heavyweight’ food; one plate of mee goreng is enough for your lunch if you are ‘lightweight’ eater. Can’t eat the hot food? Put away the chilies if you want to eat mee goreng.

Okay! Next post will be different halal food. Stay tuned!
